Many of Canada’s biggest banks, mortgage insurers and alternative lenders are offering to ease up on customers whose lives have been disrupted by Covid-19. Many have initiated plans to allow borrowers to delay mortgage payments for up to six months. With many Canadians finding themselves out of work due to enforced closures, this comes as welcome news.
