On Saturday May 27th, Oakville Green is hosting its annual Giant Community Garage Sale. The event takes place from 8 am to 1pm at the Oakville Town Hall parking lot. There will be over 80 venders and low cost BBQ is hosted by M & M Meat Shop.

The Town of Oakville is consecutively hosting the 11th annual Oakville Conserves Energy Fair inside of Town Hall. One of the main attractions will be TREC education’s demonstration of solar and wind energy where you’ll be able to see firsthand how sunlight and wind are converted to green energy.

The event encourages Oakville Residents to learn about energy conservation. There will be 14 exhibitors, giveaways, and workshops. Furthermore, homeowners can learn about money-saving energy conservation tips that are good to know before renovating or purchasing a home.

Oakville Green is Oakville’s largest resident’s association that focuses on protecting the environment, promoting sustainable planning and making sure that new development pays for itself.

There are still event spaces for people to participate in the Giant Garage Sale. To learn more about the event and vendor opportunities, visit the OakvilleGreen website.
