Robert entered the real estate business after a successful 20-year career in sales. He spent the early part of his career with a large global logistics company, and later worked in the import and brokerage business.
Robert's entire career has involved working with people, emphasizing customer service and always putting his clients first. Robert's business philosophy and approach to real estate are based on strong work and personal ethics, integrity and honesty.
Robert has always had a passion for real estate and loved buying and selling his homes during his many relocations. This passion is evident in his work with the Phinney Team, and is often noted by his clients. Robert works successfully with both buyers and sellers, and quickly develops an understanding of his clients' needs.
Robert is a true people person. He has worked with a variety of buyers and sellers, from young couples buying their first home to seniors down-sizing, and everyone in between. To better serve the growing baby boomer clients and the older population, Robert earned the Seniors Real Estate Specialists® or SRES® designation in 2011. As a designee, Robert is qualified to address the needs of home buyers and sellers age 50+. Robert has the knowledge and expertise to counsel clients age 50+ through major financial and lifestyle transitions involved in relocating, refinancing or selling the family home.
Robert was born in Ottawa and grew up just outside of Montreal on the West Island. He has also lived in Calgary and Detroit, and moved to Mississauga in 1997. Robert, his wife Catherine and their two children, Tristan and Camryn, currently reside in Lorne Park. Robert has a passion for sports and has coached little league baseball and minor hockey in Mississauga. He continues to play hockey.
