Building on the success of the past three years, Kerr Fest is returning for its fourth consecutive year on September 8 and 9. Thousands of people from Oakville and the surrounding GTA region will descend on Kerr Street to enjoy a variety of attractions.
David Wilcox, playing on September 8 from 9:30 to 11pm. Wilcox is a successful singer-songwriter with 5 gold and platinum albums.
You know that song “Working for the Weekend”? That’s by a band called Loverboy who has multi-platinum albums over their 25 year history. They also won 6 Juno awards back in 1982. Loverboy will be playing from 9:30 to 11pm on September 9.
For the Kids
The Kid Zone Area has activities for the younger ones. There is also face paint stations, a petting zoo where kids can learn about animals, and Trackless Train Shuttle. All these activities are open for both days of the event.
For the shoppers
Local merchants will be at Kerr Fest. Sidewalk sales, food samples, special offers and more will be available for many different tastes and budgets.
The Oakville car show is on the September 9th from 10am to 4pm. You’ll be able to see classic cars, muscle cars, and exotic sports cars. You’ll be able engage with car collectors and learn about electric vehicles as well.
A skateboard competition is also occurring on September 9th from 12 to 6pm.
