In the following short video, Loretta Phinney helps to document her brother's touching journey living with ALS. Her brother George is an inspiration to
anyone living with a terminal illness. Humorous, talented, a loving father, brother and grandfather, George speaks candidly about his illness and teaches us
not only how to die, but how to live:
"Everyday we have a choice when we wake up, we can roll over and go back to sleep and cry about our woes, and "why me?" I choose to get on with life, get my
feet on the floor, get in my wheelchair and get going. I never dwell on; "why me?" or "how does this affect me?" There are kids in the burn-unit; they're
bringing soldiers back in body bags... I'm still here."
